I joined the "Kilt Pin Swap" on ANUK. What a great idea of Kari's. I thoroughly enjoyed making these. As they were for Valentines Day I felt they needed a heart on them hence the fabric hearts. The hearts were pieces of textile that I had over from another project I just cut them to shape and zig zagged the edges. A bit fiddly but well worth it I think. I now have a little box of hearts! Recycled Jewellery

This is one of my 2010 animal series hair clips in 100% wool felt (sage green, ecru, black) with 2" snap clip secured inside. All hand stitched, no glue used for this item. Overall size is approx. 1 1/8" (max) x 2 1/4"

As a firm believer that everyone should wear a little bit of color every day, I created a bright yellow accessory that's sure to brighten up any outfit! I used a large silver safety pin that is about 2.25 inches long, and strung bright yellow beads and buttons on it. I also used a yellow-orange paper flower to give the brooch a feminine touch.
