I have been a huge Jae Lee fan since about 1992. But Jae Lee's style has evolved into a completely different beast over the years and he's become one of the hottest cover artists out there. DO check out the Transformers vs. GI Joe miniseries he did. Incredible! Manga Comics, Fantastic Four, Comic Covers, Comic Book Cover, Book Covers

A recent addition to my favorites list, Renato Guedes home some solid line work and is a very well rounded artist in general! He's done great work with Superman, but I really got into the new Wolverine series he drew. Smallville, Stargate, The New Wolverine, Superman, Detective Comics

Okay, this wouldn't be a complete list without Jim Lee. He's the comic book artist's comic book artist. McFarlane said it best, "God Lee." I think Scott Williams (long time Jim Lee inker) is great, but I would rather Jim Lee ink his own work. Nobody does it better than Jim. Jim Lee, Batgirl, Art Tips, Easy Step, Zelda Characters, Fictional Characters

I think my heart skips a beat every time I see Travis Charest's work. Geesh... even his work on WILDCats in 1992 was blowing me away, and still does! Only complaint, he's so damned good it takes him forever to do anything! Comic Movies, Game Character, Logan Wolverine, Wolverine Marvel, Wolverine Artwork, Logan Xmen

Steve McNiven is what I typically look for in a comic book artist. I like believable artwork. To be honest, as an artist I choose the books I pick up based on the art (95% of the time). His style is great and the work he did on Old Man Logan just blew me away! Grimm

Mike Allred!! Everyone probably knows who Mike Allred is and might not even know it. He created the artwork for the Kevin Smith film Chasing Amy (along with other various Kevin Smith film appearances)... yes? Madman has been my favorite comic book since 1994, and everything Mike Allred draws makes its way into my collection. Mike Allred, Cover Art, Kevin, Illustrators, Amy, Smith

I first saw Paul Pope's work in the back of a Madman comic book. He did a really nice pinup of Madman. His work is all over the place. He does 3D screen printing, comic books of course, and commercial work as well. Batman: Year 100 is a great work of art and Paul Pope's vision of Batman in the future is more real to life than any Batman depiction I have seen. Dc Comics Heroes, Dc Comics Batman, Batman Art, Batman Year 100, The Bat Man

Pascal Ferry's line work is amazing. It has so much movement and the end result looks like a cross between pencils and inks. The Mighty Thor series he worked on last year was one of my most highly anticipated books to pick up each month. Thor Vs Odin, Marvel Thor, Loki, Thor Series, The Mighty Thor, Norse Mythology, Community Art
