She also wrote six romances under the name Mary Westmacott, but is best remembered for the 78 crime novels, 150 short-stories, 4 non-fiction books, and 19 plays she wrote under her own name. Her books have been translated into 56 languages. She also wrote the world's longest-running play 'The Mousetrap' which premiered in London's West End in 1952, and continues today.
