A slow-going Telja wip. @byhandserial is hosting a Telja KAL in their Ravelry group and there are prizes! You can find out more details on Ravelry. I wrote this pattern with traditional bottom up construction, but this one was the first prototype and I had cast on for the yoke provisionally (also the yoke is slightly different on this one since it was the first) So I worked the yoke bottom up, then worked the body top down from the provisional cast on. I'm going to have to start writing ...

Inspired by traditional Icelandic circular yoke sweaters, Telja is knit in the round from the bottom up. Short rows are worked on the back of the sweater to bring the front of collar lower than the back. The stranded yoke is worked, and then the slightly scooped neckline is finished with an applied i-cord.
