For my workspace revamp I needed organized storage, and I needed to be able to stack it so it was no longer creeping out into the room. I have seen lots of posts about cinder block shelving, so I thought that would be a creative way to build what I needed

Arrange several inexpensive wood crates into a shelving unit, then give them a coat of paint or stain. Hold them snugly in place with clamps to build a custom furniture piece—no power tools needed.

The other day I was looking at the pile of books that is building up in the girls bedroom and I knew I had to come up with a solution before things got out of hand. I already built the diy wood pallet boat shelf for our living area and that has no more space.
