Outstanding collection of King Henry VIII, six wives and children by Kathy Redmond. $1400/1700 | Art, Antiques & Collectibles Toys Dolls | Online Auctions
17" King, 16" wives. Each is hand-sculpted to meticulous detail, with sculpting and decorations requiring five castings, each with close resemblance to the historic English King Henry VIII, as well as all six of his wives and two children, with original costumes from Redmond. Each piece is marked with Redmond log on the reverse side, and the wives are identified by inscription of their name. A remarkable and very rare group. Circa 1980. Near mint condition.
