Photographed this diminutive cat in the Thar Desert, India, Desert National Park, Rajasthan, close to the Pakistan Border. This female made her home in a large Leafless Euphorbia (Euphorbia caducifolia). We found her lazing under the plant's shade but as the sun was setting she became more active. The Asiatic wildcat is the size of a domestic cat but with longer legs. It is rarely observed in the wild, bring very wary.
