Here’s an easy and fun project for you to do ❤️ I made this trinket dish with Fimo Air Light which is honestly the lightest and most smooth air dry clay I have ever used (end trust me, I have tried every single brand I can get). This one doesn’t even need to be smoothed with water and after 2-3 days drying, the final pieces become surprisingly firm and resistant. I even threw one of the gifts tags I made on the floor several times (just to test it) and it didn’t even get scratched. Clay Repository | DIY Clay kits on Instagram: "⭐️ Clay tip: baking flat pieces of polymer clay If you are tired of getting air bubbles on your flat pieces (bubbles that were not there at all when you took the pieces to the oven) of if your flat pieces are inexplicably bending or getting misshaped during baking, keep reading. Here’s an easy way to fix that: the tile sandwich method. Use two tiles with office (or printing) paper in between, as seen on this video, when baking your pieces. Don’t worry, the tiles will not smash the clay and the paper will not catch fire in the oven (not if you are using the correct polymer clay baking temperature which is quite low). Your pieces will come out not only the way you intended them to, but they won’t have shiny backs either. Win win! 🌿Anna☀️| Crafts, Play & Learning on Instagram: "Nature Pressed Clay Hearts ♥️ Sharing with you a project from last year in which we were challenged to provide a low cost crafting idea for families during Valentine's and half term break! We used about a third of our clay to make more than 20 hearts and decorated them by using some of our dried leaf and flower stash to make impressions. Once dried, we painted over then using our watercolour palette ♥️ I love how each one turned out. You can try making your own air dry clay too! Ours never comes out very well 🙈 so this pack is handy to have in our crafting kit and is by @das_fila I rolled these about 5mm deep and they took about 1-2 days to air dry!
