Viking reenactment

Awesome idea by reenactment group Andrimners Hemtagare to recreate viking age graves with real people. The placement of bodies in graves varied wildly and there appears to have been no widespread tradition. This has led some scientists to speculate that funerals involved some form of ritual re-enactment of a 'funerary play' involving the mourners who would arrange the deceased and his possessions in a way that perhaps reflected some significant event in his life.
