2 · This is a basic recipe for how to make glycerin soap that is clear. It takes a bit of practice to get it clear. My first batch turned out cloudy and I think it was because the soap base I made wasn't dissolved enough. Take your time and be patient!

Ingredients

Oils & Vinegars
  • • 8 oz Castor oil
  • • 5 1/2 oz Coconut oil
  • • 3/4 oz Safflower or sunflower oil
  • • 14 oz Vegetable oil
Liquids
  • • 5 oz Filtered or distilled water
Other
  • • 4 oz Lye, also called 100% sodium hydroxide (find it here)

African Black Soap (ABS) has been used for centuries as a natural soap with high nourishing and healing properties. In our Liquid Black Soap, we combine the power of ABS with Hempseed Oil to increase the moisturizing features. Our Liquid Black Soap features a light citrus scent to keep skin fresh and to fight odors.
Ingredients -Cut 100g of any soap base, I have used coconut milk soap base -In a bowl mix 2 table spoon lukewarm distilled water, 1 teaspoon raw Turmeric powder, 5ml vitamin e oil, 3ml orange essential oil. -Put it in the soap base and mix slowly and nicely -Pour into mould and spray some rubbing alcohol -Let it set for 3 to 3 hours -Demould and your Turmeric bar is ready #soapmaking #meltandpoursoap
