The Glenfinnan Monument stands at the head of Loch Shiel in the Scottish Highlands. The monument was built in 1815 and stands at a height of 18m. A lone kilted highlander stands at the top to provide a reminder of the clansmen who gave their lives to the Jacobite cause.
