Satsuma candy or biscuit holder, Moriage workmanship, recalling the Meiji period, does not bear any stamp on the bottom. The container is very beautiful, painted with floral motifs and a scene with geishas styling their hair in a garden. Some parts of the decoration are in relief. Please see photos of measurements for size/scale, the height is approximately 9 1/2\". Please see photos to determine condition, the vase is secure and sturdy but there are imperfections such as faded spots, chips off of the mori Japanese Vases, Hand Painted Vase, Japanese Bowls, Interesting Story, Japanese Vase, Painted Vase, King Size Headboard, Antique Pottery, Hand Painted Vases
