Congratulations to our Featured Stamper today. Barbara has a wonderful gallery, with beautifully coloured images. I couldn't hope to do justice to those, so I chose this pretty card to case https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2888689?&cat=500&ppuser=442038 I kept the cherry blossom theme, making these changes: used a circle for the framing, used dies to create the cherry blossom, and stamped the words on a small panel. I love this set of Be Bold Blooms dies from Spellbinders. There are different sized flowers and leaves and they layer together to give a lot of visual interest. I also cut some larger leaves using the My Favorite Things Layered Leaves die. Dimension to the center of the flower was added by using a darker hue of pink ink and ink blending with a mini blending brush.The layout was inspired by a similar card made by Jennifer McGuire. I finally got round to using the Pretty Pink Posh parcel dies, I missed them the first time round. So I cased a card from A blog called Wanda that I found on Pinterest They came out for Christmas last year so I’m looking forward to using them this year. The birthday sentiment is MFT in matching colours. Hope everyone survived the heat, hiding out for the last few days, my joints certainly not liking the heat.
