A quick video on how I add dots to my metal feathers. Dot painting is an easy way to add a unique touch to any artwork. You can use rocks, canvas, wood, or even metal as seen here with this feather. I was asked to make a mosaic wood wall art piece with the feather as the centerpiece. I use acrylic craft paints in a variety of colors & a contrasting color for the second layer to give it more depth. There are dotting tools for this technique, but I just use the bottom end of a paint brush.
