Otis Williams (born Oct. 30, 1941) is an American baritone soul singer. Nicknamed "Big Daddy", he has also acted as a sporadic songwriter and record producer. Williams co-founded the iconic Motown vocal group The Temptations, with whom he continues to perform and record. He is the group's only surviving original member. In 1989, Otis Williams was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Temptations. Williams received an honorary doctorate from Stillman College in May 2006.
