Create a stunning tape resist name art project! Encourage process art with students, but finish with something that is truly "fridge worthy."

1) Tape word or name on canvas using masking tape. 2) Have kids paint canvas. 3) Remove tape to reveal word in painting.

Initial Canvas Painting. (Taped the kids letters with masking tape and then had them paint the canvas. After it was done drying I peeled the tape away and voila!)

Masking tape initials, paint over then once dry remove the tape. Quick and easy for young artists of any ability!

Canvas painting...great activity for kids. Use different widths of tape for effect. I blocked off her initial with wide tape, added some pinstripe tape and let her paint with pastel colour acrylic paints ( at the dollar store). It will look great in her room.
