Here’s how I saved a ton of money redoing hardware myself… 1. Use 220 grit sandpaper to rough up any surfaces that are being painted 2. Spray one coat of grey automotive primer on everything 3. Apply two more coats of matte black spray paint 4. Last I added one coat of matte clearcoat for an ultra matte finish 5. Let sit for a few hours before installing!
