For a live brief at a local cafe, I had to focus on the visual characteristics that were asked, for example, vintage, old fashioned, bold and aged. I used a vibrant pink ink for the background influenced by Laura Oldfield, i also mixed coffee with the ink to cool down the brightness and to create a more aged look to relate to my client. I used black berol pen to draw with, and Ian Murphy's bold tonal drawings inspired me to work so dark onto the background.
