In the 8th Arrondissement, beside Parc Monceau on av Van Dyck, this building was so elegant and imposing that I wondered if it were a museum or other public building. When I queried a teenager who emerged to walk her West Highland terrier, her reply that they were simply apartments was evidence that teens all over the world are blissfully unaware of their privileged situations--to her, this was just her everyday life.
