Rely upon your own intuitive knowing and take action as guided. If you live for the approval of others or by other’s expectations or standards, you will find yourself feeling unhappy, misplaced and unfulfilled in your life. Be true to your own heart and soul and follow your own path. It is your spiritual duty to do so. #paladinofloveandlight #divinityslove #spirituallife #ubuntuplanet #loveandlight http://sacredscribesangelnumbers.blogspot.com/2014/07/angel-number-1801.html

Art via Inès Longevial // So when I came across French painter Inès Longevial, I was blown away by her portraits. In a way, a lot of these portraits showed me of how uniquely complex we are as women. I was especially drawn to the way Inès uses geometric shapes and bold colors to highlight the different features of the face and body. Her work is a visual reminder to be bold while embracing our femininity. #femaleart #womenartist #femaleartist #illustration #womenillustration

Continuing on her theme of women in repose, Megan Gabrielle Harris’ latest paintings are influenced by the her transition from New York to Sacramento. Upon her move, she began taking small trips to the coast, Los Angeles, and Mexico. Lunch at Blanco Colima, for example, is inspired by a café around the corner from Harris’ hotel in Mexico City. While in awe of the beauty of the space, it was the artist’s contented solitude in dining alone that influenced the artwork.
