Gift Wrapped

Hello and welcome. Today I am participating in the Stampin' For Christmas Monthly Blog Hop. As the name suggests, each month of the year, we make a Christmas card and share it with you all. I think this is a great idea as it helps make a dent on the cards we have to make at Christmas time. Theoretically we should have at least twelve cards in our stash. For my card today I have used the Gift Wrapped Bundle. I love that the stamp set has a matching punch. Using a punch instead of dies, make the cards quicker to assemble. Plus you can do it anywhere, even while sitting on the lounge watching television. If you want to add the effect of ribbon but don't have any that matches the card you are making, you can use strips of patterned paper like I have done. You still get the same effect but it is much more economical. Now that you have seen my card, it is time to see what Laura has made. Here is a complete list of everyone hoping along. Merry Christmas To You & Yours

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends! I'm spending the weekend with my Madison scrapbooking girlfriends. We gather together each year and spend the weekend scrapbooking and connecting. Here's what went down yesterday...... I started out the day with Twoie's Day 8 of his Advent Calendar. Shortly after he opened his calendar......I took off to connect with my oldest daughter and the scrapbooking gals. There were only 4-of us at the Friday gathering. We each worked on some OVER-DUE projects. I was able to get the five tag albums done for Madelyn's wedding. They turned out GREAT!!! I left the scrapbooking gals about 4:30 to head over to Hailey's Dance Center. I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE watching her do Ballet and Point and Friday night.......She made me SO PROUD!!!! Here she is doing her Ballet practice. OH MY GOSH.......she was born to do this!!!!!! And my FAVORITE dance that Hailey does is Point. I SWEAR........SHE'S THAT GOOD!!!!! After dance practice......I took Hailey to one of her favorite places for dinner ...... And that would be CULVER'S. Now on to my blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And I would like to share with you the project I created using the November Paper Pumpkin kit. Here's that project....... This alternate card was made with the November 'To You and Yours' kit. I started this card off with making two banner flags with the Designer Series Paper that came with this kit. Next......I wrapped some of the Cherry Cobbler Twine that came with this kit around the top of the two banners. My sentiment was stamped with the set that came with this kit.....Along with all the layering pieces I used for my sentiment. The finishing touch was adding several of the Gold Sequins that came with the kit ...... and I was done creating this card in no time flat!!!! Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a Spot Light Sunday card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
