I’ve been dreaming of a drop shoulder all over colorwork sweater with a flea stitch body and traditionally inspired motifs, unfortunately the patterns I was finding were all bottom up and steeked. Here’s a few reasons I didn’t want to do that: 1. I didn’t like the extra bulk I was seeing at the sleeve steek. 2. I didn’t want to cut into the yarn, because then I couldn’t repurpose it if I decided I no longer liked that style of sweater. 3. I prefer knitting top down, as I find it easier to get the fit and lengths I want. So here we are! A top down all over colorwork sweater with no steeking. The downside?
