This piece, from Viktor and Rolf's Haute Couture Fall 2015 show is one which I find particularly fascinating. The show consisted of dresses which appear as though they are framed pieces of fine art - folded and crumpled to fit as a dress. These pieces, fascinatingly, can also be unfolded and hung as pieces themselves. I found this dress so interesting because it shows a clear, strong relationship between fine art and fashion.

The development process for look 1 of my collection “The Revenge of Desire” consisting of a draped PU maxi skirt with two tone ruffle detailing, paired with a double layered white habotai and cotton gauze stand up collar shirt, finished with an extended lapel scarf button on detail.
