I use a lot of slip to join the bases of my cups. A LOT. It's the quickest away to get a beautiful smooth join on the inside of the mug with very little effort. First, I always bevel the edges of the walls and the base so they fit together neatly, and scratch and slip the surfaces to be joined. Put *a lot* of slip on the base of the walls. When it's all joined, you'll see that extra slip on the inside. Let it dry for a bit, and then just use a finger to smooth it out! #ceramicsvideos #pottery
