Back to the old British style rank structure.

Badges of rank of enlisted personnel of the British Armed Forces. Please note that the Army ranks are generic, and do not include Household Cavalry ranks (I will do that later). I have included the RLC Conductor badge, as that rank is senior to most Warrant Officer Class I appointments.

At the moment, the British Army has 11 officer ranks and 7 enlisted soldier ranks. This creates an extremely hierarchical structure that is top heavy, bureaucratic, inflexible and inefficient. I would reduce the total number of ranks to just 12. (1 of 5)
