I love science interactive notebooks! There is a lot of cutting and gluing involved but the benefits outweigh the negatives. Interactive notebooks are a great way to keep all of students work in one place and is a resource that students can refer back too. The pictures you see here come from my DNA interactive notebook.

Interactive notebooks (INBs) are essentially a hybrid between a notebook and a scrapbook. Middle School science students use them to take notes, draw diagrams, create graphs, and paste in photos or other visuals to help them better understand the material. INBs allow students to organize their notes and class materials in a creative and interactive way, making the learning process more engaging and enjoyable.
