mumzie on Instagram: "My favorite squatty potty position to help babies release gas and poop 💩

This position is a game changer! We know babies can have a hard time coordinating the release of gas & poop, which can lead to discomfort, fussiness, and difficulty sleeping.

This position helps relax the pelvic floor muscles, and the upright position allows gravity to do its thing and help gas & poop come right out.

Don’t forget to bounce and walk around for maximum baby relaxation. You may need to hold the position for a few minutes.

Try it out and let me know if it worked!

Whenever parents ask me if they should teach their little guys to sit or stand when first starting to potty train I always recommend sitting! 🚽 Here’s why: Asking your son to sit when they poop but stand when they pee adds excess confusion that is unnecessary. Consistency is key in all aspects of potty training! 🙌🏽 It’s also much safer than them balancing on a step stool to be able to reach the toilet AND tends to reduce a lot of the mess which reduces your stress!! 🩷👍🏽 Eventually when your little guy is a pro and going potty independently, you can teach him to stand, but in the beginning, children have little awareness of their bodily Potty Training Boys In 3 Days, Best Potty Training Seat, Boys Potty, Best Potty, Potty Training Seats, Teaching Boys, Potty Training Boys, To Pee, Potty Train
