Anglo-Saxon Hall House - Reconstruction A team of volunteer ‘treewrights’, under the supervision of Carpenter-in-Residence Joe Thompson, began the construction of the timber frame our Anglo-Saxon hall house in June 2015. Work was completed in autumn 2016 and the building was opened for the first time with a two-day celebration from 14-15 October 2016. Please do explore this wonderful new exhibit in our woodland.
