Today I'll be showing you how to make capemalaybollas. Also known as dropdoughnuts. Now this is a super easy and super quick recipe and you can see how beautifully light and fluffy this is. To a large bowl add three quarter cups of sugar and two extra large eggs. Read that until it's light creamy and light yellow in colour. Okay so this is the texture that it should look like. Add in 3/ 4 cups of cooking oil and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence. Leave that together. And then add in half of the buttermilk. And half of the self-raising flour. So that's about two cups of self-raising flour. Add in 1 teaspoon of hilachi or cardamom powder. And give that a whisk. Add in the other half of the buttermilk and the other half of the flour. And you can just give that a mix and it should be nice and a thick batter. If the batter is too thin then it will basically just fall apart in the oil. So make sure that your butter is nice and thick. Now you can just spoon your butter into the oil. Make sure that your oil is not too hot and that it's not too cold. If it's too cold it's going to absorb all the oil. And if it's too hot it's going to get very brown on the outside and it's not going to be cooked on the inside. Don't worry about horns and tails and if it's an oblong shape it does come with plactus I'm still not perfect as you can see. But it still looks nice. After spooning off the batter just dip your spoon in some water. This will make the the more of a round shape. Mine's still a weird looking shape and it's got a lot of worns and tails but it's fine. It does come with practice. We going to cook this until it's nice and golden brown. You can do a two spic test just to make sure that it is cooked in the middle. You can remove the boilers from the oil and just place it on a paper towel or a wide rack to remove the excess oil. For the syrup add three cardamom pots and two stick cinnamons to a pot. Add in one and a half cup of sugar and one cup of water. Bring that to a boil and then cook this for about five, five to 10 minutes. To a bowl add some fine designated coconut. Now your syrup you can see now it's becoming nice and a sticky consistency. Once you have a consistency you can add your bolash to the syrup and you can cook this for about one to two minutes. Make sure that the bollas has a even coat all around. You can remove the the bollas from the syrup and you can just sprinkle with some fine coconut. And there you have it. Some yummy, delicious, light and fluffy capemalaybollas. Now you can enjoy your bollas with a nice cup of tea or some coffee on a Sunday morning or just for tea time. Look how delicious, light and fluffy it looks in the centre. I hope you enjoyed this video. Please follow me for more. Until next time. Bye.

Oven-Baked Donuts Recipe 🍩
Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sifted flour, salt, yeast, and sugar. Then add the egg yolks, warm milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Knead the dough until it becomes soft and smooth. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size. Shape the Donuts: Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a lightly floured surface to a thick sheet. Cut out thick circles using a donut cutter or any round cutter. Place the donuts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover with a damp cloth, and let them rest for another 30 minutes. !
