Augvald (Norwegian Steam merchant) - Convoy HX 109: The cargo ship straggled behind the convoy. She was torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic Ocean 150 nautical miles (280 km) north west of Loch Ewe (59°30′N 7°30′W) by U-147 with the loss of 29 of her 30 crew. The survivor was rescued by HMS Pimpernel
