“There’s no future without heritage,” says Sven Baacke, Gaggenau's head of design. “You can’t tell stories without a past.” The door on the EB 333 perfectly encapsulates the brand's constant pursuit of innovation while preserving the commitment to timeless craftsmanship. This year sees the 30th birthday of Gaggenau's iconic EB 300. The concept of this unique, stand-alone 90 cm wide oven has remained almost untouched over three decades, providing a professional cooking experience beloved by top chefs and keen amateur chefs alike. Relaunched and named in honour of our 333rd anniversary, the EB 333, like its predecessor, is crafted almost entirely by hand using carefully selected materials.

The EB 333 is the hero of the Gaggenau oven range. After wowing design lovers for three decades, the oven was revised last year as a part of the anniversary of the brand, and is now more impressive than ever.

The rotary knobs on the EB 333 have been used on Gaggenau ovens for nearly a decade. User experience is core to the brand’s design philosophy and the iconic stainless steel knobs provide direct, intuitive control. Gaggenau only make changes if it makes sense from an aesthetic or functional point of view and for the EB 333, this was an even purer minimalist design. Gaggenau introduced a black variant for the knobs so they blend with the rest of the control module to make it more streamlined.
