Presenting a unified building complex, the Government Quarters of Norway, designed by the Norwegian architect Erling Viksjo, are key works of modernist architecture.

I 1908 oppfant husmoren Melitta Bentz det første kaffefilteret. Vi har ikke noen tidfesting på dette reklamefotografiet for filterne, men utviklingen hadde gått litt videre, i 1937 kom man fram til den koniske formen på kaffefilteret som fortsatt er vanlig i dag. Bildet er tatt av Teigens Fotoatelier.
