In this activity, students identify the difference in temperature between two objects by identifying one as the hotter and one as the colder. Then, they draw an arrow to indicate the flow of thermal energy between the two objects. Finally, they answer questions to review the flow of thermal energy, how equilibrium is reached, what happens at equilibrium and how to disturb thermal equilibrium.
