The weedy sea dragon lives along the southern coast of Australia and around Tasmania. They can grow as long as 45 cm (17.5 inches). They have projections that resemble seaweed, which acts as camouflage. This helps them hide in seaweed beds, between the depths of 3 meters and 50 meters (10 feet and 164 feet).

The leafy seadragon or Glauert's seadragon, Phycodurus eques, is a marine fish in the family Syngnathidae, which also includes the seahorses. It is the only member of the genus Phycodurus.

This animal, the Leafy Seadragon, is a Threatened species. They are threatened by collecting for use in Chinese medicine (and by habitat loss). Just one more example of the beautiful natural world exploited by idiotic traditional Chinese cruelty.

Blue Dragon Galaucus: They feed on the poisonous Man of War Jellyfish, collecting the animal's toxins and storing them in little sacs on the end of their feather-like "fingers." The Blue Dragon can produce a much more powerful and deadly sting than the Man of War due to its ability to store the poison. ** They float on top of the ocean on their backs.

Glaucus atlanticus (commonly known as the sea swallow, blue angel, blue glaucus, blue dragon, blue sea slug and blue ocean slug). This little sea slug eats poisonous jellyfish and stores their venom for its personal use
