Homemade Almond Milk makes 4 cups  Ingredients:  1 cup almonds, soaked in water for 4-6 hours and rinsed well 4 cups filtered water nut milk bag, or cheese cloth for straining  Directions:  Combine the drained almonds and 4 cups of filtered water in a high-speed blender, and blend until smooth and creamy.

PEACH OAT SMOOTHIE: 2 ripe quartered peaches, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1/4 cup rolled oats, 1/2 frozen banana (peeled before freezing), 1/4 cup fresh orange juice,1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (optional: 1 tbsp agave or maple syrup). Blend all and let set for 5-10 minutes so the oats and chia seeds can soak. Then blend again until smooth. Serve immediately.

Peach Oat Smoothie

PEACH OAT SMOOTHIE: 2 ripe quartered peaches, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1/4 cup rolled oats, 1/2 frozen banana (peeled before freezing), 1/4 cup fresh orange juice,1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (optional: 1 tbsp agave or maple syrup). Blend all and let set for 5-10 minutes so the oats and chia seeds can soak. Then blend again until smooth. Serve immediately.
