Iconic Copenhagen Poster - Guards. From Hus & Hem.   Just one of the must see attractions for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Copenhagen is the changing of the guard.  This daily event takes place at 12.00 noon at Amalienborg. The Royal Guard, called Den Kongelige Livgarde, march from their barracks in Gothersgade 100 by Rosenborg Castle through the streets of Copenhagen and end up at Amalienborg, the home of the Danish royal family.

Queen Sonja of Norway wearing Queen Josefina's Diamond Tiara.  The tiara adorned various Danish royal heads until it was gifted to Louise's granddaughter, Princess Märtha of Sweden, who married Crown Prince Olav of Norway in 1929. Märtha died before she could become queen of Norway herself, but her daughter-in-law, Queen Sonja, wears Josefina's diamond tiara on a regular basis these days.

That last comment should read that most fringe tiaras are convertible to *necklaces*.  Also according to the Royal Collections Trust website (part of the Royal Household) this tiara worn here by Mary is indeed the Queen Adelaide tiara.
