Ophelia, 1894, by John Waterhouse. I love Waterhouse's paintings - many are based on classic tales and legends and all are just gorgeous!

Beautiful "Flaming June" by John William Waterhouse has always been one of my favorite paintings. Waterhouse (1849-1917) was a gifted British painter known for working in the Pre-Raphaelite style. He worked several decades after the breakup of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
