Fill balloons with water and add food coloring, once frozen cut the balloons off & they look like giant marbles or Christmas lights. If you live someplace cold enough to keep them frozen I think this would be great for outdoor Christmas decor.

Ice Lanterns!  Just fill a large bucket with water, add a smaller bucket (anchored with weights like rocks) to the middle and fill the space in between with colorful items.  Freeze and remove the center bucket by adding hot water to loosen it.  Add a candle to the center and set outside on the porch.  Gorgeous!
