heart pepparkakor cookies, notched for a mug....and LOVE that Scandinavian textile on the table!!

Heart shaped gingerbread with a slit to hang from a glass of mulled wine (make the cut rather wide before baking because gingerbread swells slightly in the oven). The cookie sounds like a cute and simple thing

Fill balloons with water and add food coloring, once frozen cut the balloons off & they look like giant marbles or Christmas lights. If you live someplace cold enough to keep them frozen I think this would be great for outdoor Christmas decor.

*Colored ice balls* Fill balloons with water and add food coloring (be careful not to let the food coloring escape!), once frozen cut the balloons off and voila! Look like giant marbles :) best winter decor ever. also, use them in the summer time

Ice Lanterns! Just fill a large bucket with water, add a smaller bucket (anchored with weights like rocks) to the middle and fill the space in between with colorful items. Freeze and remove the center bucket by adding hot water to loosen it. Add a candle to the center and set outside on the porch. Gorgeous!

I have designed these for years with pine branches and cranberries. The photo is' Ice and fire' by apulkkan
