East Van House by Splyce Design features an asymmetric sloping roof
Vancouver house by Canadian studio Splyce Design features a lopsided roof that follows the line of the staircase. Stairs between the three floors are at the north-facing front of the house, which is the darkest part of the building. Open stair treads, glass balustrades and a rooflight at the top of the stairwell have been added to increase the flow of natural light here.

For the Love of Stairs
Minimalist staircase - This staircase is an awesome piece of architecture while also being absolutely terrifying. Defiantly not for those who are scared of heights :o

The S House consists of approximately 400m2 of interior space and 480m2 of landscape and garden area. The owner’s expectation for the interior design was for a modern look integrating natural elements around light toned living spaces. Modern conveniences and home technologies would need to be subtly weaved into the interiors to create a cosmopolitan urban setting.
