Mathallen is a big beautiful food hall on the west side of Grünerløkka, full of sandwich shops, restaurants, delis, coffee, groceries, ice cream, and more. I was told that the chicken sandwich from Stangeriet was one of the best (and cheapest) in the city, and I can verify it was delicious. Eat in the hall or take food to go and eat outside by the nearby stream.
