This mid 20th century Canadian Military History photo titled "Wait for me daddy" features the British Columbia Regiment, (Duke of Connaught's Own), marching in New Westminster. The Regiment was established in 1883, and as the oldest military unit in Vancouver, British Columbia, it is a Primary Reserve armoured reconnaissance regiment of the Canadian Army which is subordinate to the 39 Canadian Brigade Group of the 3rd Canadian Division.
