Self-explanatory: I am trying to keep inventory of all my dresses and this is just the neatest way to do so! This board does not include all of them as I don´t have photos of all of them... YET. This is really for my safe keeping. Thus, I will be putting up photos of myself in vintage finds.

Elevated and couture-like, the show was McQueen at his most romantic — and it ended with the unforgettable finale of a corset-framed dress which he had filled with fresh hydrangeas and roses.

“The gold dress represents the honey and the hive...it has a hip cage underneath it, all the silhouettes are emphasising the female form, so she has a waist and an exaggerated hip. She has a hip cage underneath her skirt and one over the top of it as well, so that’s the honey and beehive together.” - Sarah Burton. The embroidered cage is adorned with goldwork techniques, 3-D flower applique, gold thread and beadwork.
