I share my year between the tropical climate of the Philippines and the pleasant but northern climate of Norway. I got introduced to birding in 1979. Now many years later I still find great joy and inspiration from observing birds and the natural world around me. ​If you have birding as a hobby you understand my passion. In this episode I bird for Hawfinch. Scientific name: Coccothraustes coccothraustes Lenght 16 - 18 cm and can be found across Europe and temperate Asia.

White-Collared Kingfisher call # 7 High above me in the treetops you can hear the call of my neighbor the White-Collared Kingfisher (Todiramphus chloris).

One of the other guests to my home is the Red-Keeled Flowerpecker (haematostictum).
