I do not know this lady. The moment I glanced her she immediately reminded me of my grandmother. She always wore a bonnet, just like this one, which she made. There are rather thin cardboard slats about 1 1/2 inch wide sewn into the brim. She always wore an apron and a sweater over her dress if the weather was cool. I miss her. I have one of her bonnets.
