Traditional Ukrainian shirts I've embroidered, in styles mainly from the Horodenka region of Carpathian Western Ukraine, where my maternal grandparents were born and raised in Serafyntsi village. Villages represented include Serafyntsi, Yaseniv-Pil’nyi, Hlushkiv, Chernyatyn, Harasymiv, Tyshkivtsi, Chortovets, Kotykivka, Korniv, Torhovytsia, Soroky, Nezvisko, Balyntsi, Ostrivets, Kalinky, Nyrkiv, Luka, Toporivtsi, Pidvysoke, Kosmach, and Yavoriv, as well as the cities of Snyatyn and Horodenka.
