Judith Barton, 63, is from the Isle of Wight. After dropping out of Twickenham Art College, she didn’t paint for 25 years. The turning point came in 2004, when her daughter entered her into an art competition and she was selected to hang in a prestigious gallery. She has a degenerative eye disease that has left her partially sighted, but says it doesn’t stop her painting “big and through my heart.”
