The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator with an ice maker, a gas stove, and two ovens. There is a toaster along with several options for making coffee (including a French press and Keurig), a griddle for pancakes, and all the dishes and serving utensils you’ll need. You’ll find everything necessary to create and serve beautiful meals. As an added touch, we’ve thrown in a bread maker and a complimentary pack of sourdough bread mix.

We know that traveling with little ones can be hard, so we want Little Big Sky Retreat to be just as much fun for them as it is for you, without a lot of extra work! We’ve provided a pack n’ play, a high chair, and a double-wide stroller, so you won’t have to worry about lugging these large items from home. Mealtime with kids can get crazy, so we’ve also included child-friendly plates, cups, sippy cups, bottles, and kids’ utensils.

One of my favorite things about this property is that it’s located just off of Highway 38 and is about 2.5 hours away from San Diego, so you won’t have to take the congested 330 to get to the house. There is space for two cars in the retreat’s driveway, with space for a third car on the quiet street. There are eight steps leading to the front porch, but there are no interior stairs in the cabin, which is perfect for kids and the elderly.

One of my favorite touches is also the custom-made marquee sign from Nashville that lights up at 5:00 p.m. to remind you to unplug and be present with loved ones. (Don’t we all need that reminder sometimes?) I hope you enjoy the art in this cabin! We took great care to curate art that features the local mountains and wild donkeys so you can bring a touch of your surroundings inside. We also include a special surprise gift for every guest, so keep an eye out for yours!

The laundry room is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer, and we even provide laundry detergent to make things as easy as possible! You’ll also find an iron and ironing board (and this is also where you’ll find doggie bags to clean up after your pets!).
