This is an amazing Dynasty; reign of Userkaf, BC, oldest known life-size statue of ancient Egypt. Carved sycamore wood, discovered at Sakkara in the tomb of Ka-aper. Represents a khry-heb (lector priest) named Ka-aper. Saw it in Cairo Museum.
Akhenaten wearing the Khepesh crown decorated with roundels (also known as the Blue crown). Restorations to the lower lip and right eyebrow were made in antiquity. Carved from Limestone and found at Tell el Amarna.
Limestone fragmentary head of a prince or princess. Art reached from extremes of beauty, as shown here, to hideousness, as in the majority of images of the King and his family, this piece is certainly an exception for royal depictions.
