Baye Hunter - Cardinal. 8x10 inch mixed media collage on canvas using Japanese paper, hand-printed tissues, and magazine pages. To create Baye first draws an image, then chooses magazine pages, combined with hand-printed tissue paper stamped with patterns & a colour wash added. She applies the papers to a backing paper & cuts or tears this into pieces & glues these to the drawn image. A colour-softening paint wash is then applied.
