Closing my clock series with my favorite one in all the palaces of @realessitios - Located in the Great Hall of La Casa del Labrador in Aranjuez this massive clock is one of the most stunning clocks Ive ever seen. It was made by Juan Bautista Ferroni between 1798 and 1804 and its gilt bronze and marquetry plaques hides a complete mechanical organ including some timpanies. I imagine fashionable melodies at each hour...and Carlos IV a music lover enjoying them in a summer sunset. A masterpiece made by the official clockmaker of the King's chamber - Today we return to one of my favorite spaces in La Casa del Labrador the billiard room. In this space we find an exquisite Pendulum clock perfect for its decoration and its high precision unique at that time.
